How

Identify the real problem in a nutshell statement by asking,

“How is that a problem for you now?”

Identify the major presuppositions within their stated problem

Structure two questions that:

• Takes into account the major underlying presupposition
• Opens them up to new possibilities

Re-associate them into the problem by restating the problem

Ask the questions you came up with and observe the response
